Pro NGO! e.V. mourns the loss of its co-founder and long-standing Vice Chairman, Andreas Bieschke who passed away in August 2026.

In 1998, Andreas laid the foundation for Pro NGO! e.V. guided by his visionary spirit, his goal was to bring the efficiency and professionalism of modern corporate management into the non-governmental sector.

As co-founder and Vice Chairman (1998–2016), he shaped the organisation for nearly two decades. His dedication was particularly visible during his numerous international missions: Andreas traveled extensively to share his profound expertise directly with local target groups, who benefited greatly from his knowledge and guidance. Thanks to his strategic foresight, he established the structures that allow us to successfully implement complex international projects to this day.

With Andreas, we lose a brilliant mind, a valued mentor, and a dedicated advocate for civic action. We are deeply indebted to him and will honor his legacy by continuing his life's work in his spirit.
